THE DIFFICULTIES FACED BY TEACHERS, STUDENTS AND THEIR PARENTS RESULTING FROM DISTANCE EDUCATION IN THE PRIMARY STAGE FROM THE VIEW OF TEACHERS AND PARENTS

Abstract

Corona pandemic has affected the pattern of education around the world they have turned from traditional education to distance education. Teachers, students and parents face a number of difficulties that need to be studied .

Our study aimed. (1) The study aimed to know the difficulties of distance education among students, teachers and parents (2) The relationship between demographic variables and difficulties.

Method, A questionnaire of 25 items was built for this purpose. It was divided into three categories. These categories are difficulties related to students, difficulties related to the teacher and Difficulties related to parent. The sample of this study was 258 of parents and teachers were selected from all around the State of Kuwait.

The results (1) There are statistically significant differences between the educational level of the mother and the difficulties faced by the students . (2) There are statistically significant differences between the governorates of the State of Kuwait and the difficulties that teachers faced. (3) There are differences between the age of the pupil and the difficulties faced by the parents. (4) There are no differences between the level of the student and the difficulties faced by students, teachers and parents

Conclusion: There are difficulties faced students, teachers and parents in distance education that require training programs to develop distance learning skills and new strategies in education that serve the quality of distance education.
